Cristo War
Saw a movie yesterday about this war with andy Garcia. I was pretty impressessed to see them focus on this , to me, unusual subject in the modern hisrtory of Mexico. Basically, Mexican army against Cristos(Christians).
Movie was good on action(Well done) almost Peckingpah. Lots of brutality on both sides but truly pure outrageous behavior on the Mexican side just for trying to wipe out religious freedom in a long time Catholic country.
Although politically. it , I guess, was out of desperation since the government did not know how to stop the uprisings outside of giving in to the revolutionaries and granting them a democracy and a redistribution of wealth.
This seems like a fun period to reproduce on the table top. I haven’t really seen this done. Has anyone?
